Bio

Julia is a PhD student in The LaSalle Lab and is part of the Integrative Genetics and Genomics (IGG) Graduate Group. She is also a NIEHS T32 Fellow Fellow (beginning in Fall 2021). Julia researches the epigenetic mechanisms that increase risk for autism spectrum disorder, particularly across multiple generations; she is interested in incorporating social and environmental determinants of health into her mechanistic research. She is also part of the IGG Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, as well as The Green Initiative Fund, a sustainability-focused committee on campus.
